Dear friends and neighbors

I do not take any corporate or developer donations.  I believe that these have too much power in our political system through their contributions, lobbyists, and  direct control over key institutions in our lives.  Financial independence from corporations is a critical first step in getting policies that are in the interests of the people of Richmond.

I mainly depend on volunteer  work to counter the money of the corporations in politics. I still also have to depend on many small financial contributions  to pay the bills like printing and phone.  So please help.

If you make a contribution of $100 or more, state law requires that you provide your address, and occupation (or retired status).  

Please help.  Remember your few dollars combined with volunteer labor goes a long way to creating a better Richmond. And just in case there are a few of you who can afford much more, your maximum contribution for a candidate is $2500.
